Jeffrey Bezoz

Bezoz Jeffrey was born on January 12, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His mother, Jackie Bezos, was 17 when she gave birth, her biological father is known.


Jeffrey's stepfather, Miguel Bezos was born in Cuba. When Jackie married, the family moved to Houston, Texas, and Miguel Bezos became an engineer for Exxon. Jeffrey attended River Oaks Elementary in Houston from the 4th to 6th grade.


His family moved back to Miami, where he attended Miami Palmetto Senior High School.


He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Princeton University. In 1986 he began work on a fiber optic company where he became vice president do. Then from 1990 to 1994 he worked in a Wall Street firm, DE Shaw and Co.


In 1994, Jeff Bezos quit his job and told his wife to pack everything. They took the car, laptop and dog and stopped in Seattle. They rented a house and created the world's largest bookstore, Amazon.
